About Jules

Hi, I’m Jules, former Global Head of Creative at The Body Shop. I have been involved with work that has won over 40 creative awards and have helped brands large and small to create campaigns that produce world class content and storytelling. I have created 100’s of successful campaigns and have led clients through exciting re-brands. I am part of management teams. I think strategically and produce creative ideas that understand life today. I have shot with the best directors and photographers in the world.

I’m currently freelancing at The Pharm leading great beauty Campaigns for Boots. I’m passionate about championing and mentoring young creatives and led a global team of amazing art directors, designers, writers and video peeps. Check out my LinkedIn profile to see what they have to say.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

I landed my first creative award at ad school at the age of 21 years. More recent awards include: Gold Caples, More Than, Transform Gold, Financial Service Forum and D&AD. I have won the freelancer of the year numerous times nominated by Yuno Juno. I’m a proud spokeswoman for International Women’s Day and have taught workshops to 400 clients.

During lockdown I raised over £5,000 for COVID charities and meals for the NHS by using my Instagram following. LivingEtc gave me a homepage takeover as it was so successful. I have a following of 5k and have a keen interest in art. I also teach “The Art of Mindfulness” at The Affordable Art Fair every year.

In the last few weeks I was honoured to become a business mentor for @brain_appeal, a charity that helped save my 18 year old son's life last year. I will be advising them on social media and fundraising for "A Letter in Mind". Artists paint a piece on the back of a envelope, they are auctioned to raise money for this amazing cause. During my years in the industry, I have worked on an extremely varied client list in a wide variety of sectors, ranging from automotive and charity to banking and retail. I won’t list them all but clients have included: Renault, Toyota, Cancer Research, British Airways, Nat West, Tesco, Aptamil, BaByliss, Dove, Barclaycard, Nike, Mini, Adidas, Lloyds Bank, RSPB and many more.

I also am a judge on numerous awards panels including, Le Book, The Spot Light Awards and Transform awards.

TEAM OR SOLO:

I’m looking for a new permanent role as a Creative Director or Executive Creative Director. I can work as a solo creative, writing and art directing projects. I sometimes work with writers for long copy. I think strategically and can’t live without a global creative platform. I lead a department that is loved and listened to everyday. I'd also love to write an art column in fancy magazine if anyone has any connections.
